Welcome to the TNN Beauty Student Resources page. This page is designed to help apprentices access important forms, exams, schedules, and program reminders during their apprenticeship journey.
Students are responsible for staying active in the program, attending required RSI classes, completing assignments, submitting OJT logs monthly, and preparing for program completion and State Board examination.
ENTRANCE EXAM
New students must complete the TNN Beauty entrance exam before being accepted into the apprenticeship program.
EXIT EXAM
Students must complete the TNN Beauty exit exam before program completion. The exit exam helps confirm that students are prepared for the next step toward the State Board written examination.
OJT MONTHLY LOGS
Apprentices must record their On-the-Job Training hours and services performed each month. OJT logs must be completed accurately, signed when required, and submitted monthly to TNN Beauty for review and tracking.

Students should not wait until the end of the program to complete logs. OJT logs must be updated regularly and submitted each month.
RSI STUDY SCHEDULES
Each month, TNN Beauty provides RSI study schedules to help students stay on track with required classroom instruction, textbook reading, written assignments, chapter exams, and State Board preparation.
Students should follow the study schedule for their program and language:
- Barber RSI Study Schedule — English
- Barber RSI Study Schedule — Spanish
- Cosmetology RSI Study Schedule — English
- Cosmetology RSI Study Schedule — Spanish
Students are expected to complete all assigned work and maintain the required passing grade for chapter exams.
RSI CLASS CALENDAR
Students should check the RSI class calendar regularly for class dates, times, location, Zoom information when applicable, holidays, makeup class dates, and important deadlines.
Class schedules may change. Students are responsible for checking updates and attending the required class days for their assigned program and location.
ATTENDANCE REMINDERS
Students must attend required RSI class sessions and complete check-in and check-out procedures when required.
Failure to attend class, complete assignments, or submit required documents may delay program progress or completion.
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Each month, students should complete the following:
- Attend scheduled RSI class
- Complete assigned reading and written work
- Complete required chapter exams
- Record daily OJT hours and services
- Submit monthly OJT log
- Communicate any schedule or employment changes to TNN Beauty
- Keep contact information current
- Check email and text messages for program updates
REQUIREMENTS
To complete the apprenticeship program, students must meet all required RSI classroom hours, On-the-Job Training hours, monthly documentation, assignments, exams, and program requirements.
TNN Beauty will review student records before issuing completion documents or assisting with the State Board exam application process.
